"Portal 2 LEGO Tower Module"

My first ever monthly build created to show at TexLUG Austin, this is a tower module built to guideline specifications based on the LEGO Tower mobile game.
Builders were provided the room dimensions and the doorway location, and were then tasked with creating a themed room for a real-life tower which would be created using all of the builds.
Guidelines in mind, I settled on a Portal 2 theme for my module, creating a number of iconic objects from the game, and then crafted the room around them.
Test subject Chell stands on a "1500 Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button," which appears to control the door. Knowing it will close if she moves, she must find something to hold down the button to progress.
Maybe the "Weighted Companion Cube" in the corner could do the trick?

"TIE Striker from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"

Being a huge fan of Rogue One (It's my favorite Star Wars film!) I tried to tackle the challenge of creating one of the TIE Strikers seen throughout the film.
Unfortunately, I'm not a Star Wars LEGO set collector, so my best bet for that iconic TIE windscreen was to steal it from the official LEGO TIE Fighter, set 9492.
After thieving the cockpit window, I then considered what a fun challenge it might be to try to build my TIE Striker using nothing but pieces from the 9492 TIE Fighter LEGO set.
So that's what I did!
It features flick-fire missiles, an opening cockpit window, and two removable roof panels for access to the surprisingly spacious interior. The wings can even fold up into "attack mode" just like in the movie
