"Emmet's Monster Truck"

Being a huge fan of both The LEGO Movie and The Scorch Trials, 14-year-old Aiden was ecstatic to see that The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part would seemingly be combining aspects from both.
After watching the teaser trailer, I couldn't wait to get home from school. I sat down with my LEGO bricks and got to work painstakingly replicating every detail of the monster truck shown in the teaser trailer.
Using only a few seconds of footage as reference, I reconstructed the vehicle as best I could, and was pleased to see that I wasn't too far off from the final product when the movie finally came out!

"Tomb Rider"

As my anticipation for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part continued to grow, I became aware of a competition encouraging young builders to create a design mixing two distinct styles in a creative new way. Builds selected would be featured in the movie's end credits.
Always up for a challenge, I set out to combine some of the coolest concepts out there: Ancient Egyptian mummies and race cars!
The build I came up with was the "Tomb Rider", a dragster fit for a king (or a pharaoh) with a snake's head bumper, coffin-styled cockpit, and a spoiler reminiscent of Egyptian wing designs.
Although my build was ultimately not featured in the movie, I still had a blast tackling the creative challenge and am proud of the model I created.
