Howdy! Below is "Floored", a short film group project I created alongside four teammates in the VIST 206 course at Texas A&M University. Each member carried out specific duties which contributed to the final product shown.
I held the dual positions of Writer and Director, putting me in charge of story flow, blocking out action, coordination of camera movement, and documentation of duties and deliverables by the team. For my screenplay, I utilized the free trial of the Final Draft software. Enjoy!
We were challenged to create a 30-second story which would showcase real-life actors performing in front of a "Volume", a massive panel of screens calibrated to display a virtual environment. The Volume's capabilities extend past those of a green screen, however, being able to effectively imitate parallax effects of a real camera shooting a real environment.

The script underwent several iterations before landing on a final version I was happy with. Since the film was to be a grand total of 30 seconds, it was important to me to keep the screenplay on one page if possible.

Lastly, I color corrected and edited our final cut using the DaVinci Resolve software. Afterward, it was sent to other teammates for audio restoration, foley, and of course, the credits. Hope you like it!
